Walk-and-Talk Therapy
Gentle outdoor support in safe natural spaces across Anglesey.
We are gathering community feedback to understand what support people across Anglesey would find most helpful.
Through walk-and-talk therapy, community outreach and early emotional wellbeing support, Stable Minds Your Safe Space Wales CIC is building compassionate, trauma-informed support for people across the island.
Many people across Anglesey face barriers when trying to access mental health and wellbeing support. Rural isolation, transport difficulties, financial pressures, long waiting lists and limited local provision can leave people struggling alone for too long.
Stable Minds Your Safe Space Wales was created to offer a different kind of support — one that feels human, flexible and connected to the communities it serves.
Starting with walk-and-talk therapy, emotional wellbeing support and community connection, our aim is to bring safe, compassionate and trauma-informed support closer to the people who need it most.

Although Anglesey is known for its beauty, culture and strong sense of community, many people living across the island face hidden challenges — including rural isolation, transport barriers and limited access to emotional wellbeing support close to home.
Stable Minds Your Safe Space Wales is focused on building support that feels accessible, approachable and rooted within the communities it serves.
We believe that where someone lives should never determine whether they can access support.
Stable Minds Your Safe Space Wales was founded by psychotherapist Milly Peel, whose work has always centred around creating safe, compassionate spaces for people navigating trauma, emotional distress and life's challenges.
Milly is the founder of Stable Minds, an award-winning community mental health organisation recognised for its warm, community-led approach to support. With Welsh family roots through her maiden name Evans, and a grandfather who served as a Welsh Guard, her connection to Wales is both personal and community-led.
The vision for Wales grew from recognising the barriers many rural and coastal communities continue to face when trying to access emotional wellbeing support.
Stable Minds Wales is being developed with the community, not for the community. Tell us what support matters most.
As a small community interest company, we are currently building the foundations of accessible mental health and wellbeing support across Anglesey.
Future funding will help us expand outreach, reduce barriers to support, develop community wellbeing initiatives, support schools and families, and build safe and accessible spaces within local communities.
Together, we hope to create support that reaches people before they reach crisis point.
